The Bluetooth symbol is directly linked to the name of the technology, which in turn is a tribute to the former king of Denmark Herald Bluetooth.
The creators of the technology decided to name it this way because, like Herald, which united Norwegian, Swedish and Danish tribes, Bluetooth is intended to connect different electronics around the same port.
The symbol is the combination of two letters, Hagall and Berkanan, belonging to two Nordic alphabets.
